Heart to Heart project
Introduction
Everyday we hear about “Son killed his father, other beat his
mother until she went to the hospital, girls have sex, group of high educated
boys and girls turned into robbers and traders of drugs”, all of this and more
because they wanted to buy drugs. And do you imagine that in Egypt:- ·
6 million smokers, 74
thousand of them didn’t complete 10 years. And statistics said that
the children who are under 12 years and smoke , should be addicts when
they grow up . ·
21,000 students are
really addicts. ·
15 youth die every month
because of drug addiction. ·
Our sales from tobacco is
25 billion pounds every year. All of these
things and more are around us .
And , as we believe that youth should face those
problems and dangers alone tomorrow and we believe that youth should take
part in solving these problems. So we decided to discuss one of the most
important problems in our life. This dangerous problem is called “drug
addiction".
First, when we heard about drugs we asked ourselves, What
are drugs? Why do all of those youth take drugs? Why do all of
these things happened? Who is the responsible? How can we prevent
all of these things from happening
again? All of these questions and more go around in our minds, sometimes, we
ignore these questions, other times we site the answers against unknown! Other
times, we think that we are safe and our family and friends are safe too, so why
we should care about it. But drug addiction isn’t a problem of a group of bad
youth, it is a problem of nations and societies. It is a great danger, a real
monster. So, we must know every thing about
it to be able to win our fight against drug addiction.
Because of all that we said we decided to send this massage from the heart of youth to the heart of humanity calling them to move
and do something to stop this mess which caused by drugs and try to save our
future and prevent humanity from extinction.
In this project, we are talking about:- The meaning of
drugs, its kinds, why did drugs enter our county? Then, we highlight the reasons
which push youth to take drugs, and its effects on youth and society. We also
discuss the role of society to stop taking drugs all over the world and what we
should do to stop this. At last, we give solutions that we really
do (as a practical part) to solve this problem “drug addiction” and we give
advice to youth to help them in their fighting against drugs. So, we hope that we could help in stopping addiction all over the world through this project. As this project aims at helping youth to be good citizens and to have a better world. Heart
