Amr Abdel Wahab
We
would like to send you the greetings of the Egyptian people. From
Egypt, the land of love and tolerance. We were sorry when we heard the news
about the sorrowful incident on Sept. 11th in New York. And
we would like to assure our solidarity with the American people in condemning
terrorism. We
also sympathize with the victims' families hoping they get over this dramatic
experience quickly and return back to their normal life. Here
in Egypt we deplore violence and terrorism and we seek to fight terrorism
because we have been suffering bitterly from such acts for years and we could
fight it with patience and unity. We
should know that violence breeds violence so we should be one hand to be able to
face any challenges that meet us and here I believe that together we are strong.
We shouldn't let those evils creatures affect our relationship. We should also
know that our world calls for peace and we have to respond positively to help
our world to live in peace, safety and happiness.
