Human Rights

When we mention these two words, we mean all good words in the world and in all languages that protect the world from wars, slavery, unemployment, fanaticism, terrorism and destruction.

These two words that control people’s minds and hearts, do promote humanity. In fact, we do have rights, these rights make us live happily in the world. These rights make us act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. These rights make human beings born to be free and to be equal in dignity. These rights prevent us from being subjected to torture or cruelty, inhuman treatment or punishment. These rights give us the chance to defend ourselves and protect our properties. These rights protect our privacy, family, home and even our correspondence. There should no attacks upon our honor and reputation. These rights give us the right to have the freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.

I, as one of the youth, hope that human rights shouldn’t be just a declaration on papers, or just words we say, but we must believe in human rights first, as this belief will be the first step to stop the humanity from returning back towards the dark ages of human life. And I, as one of the future generation, hope peace and love spread all over the world. Every one on earth should enjoy his rights and freedoms in his own country first in order to achieve the human rights within his nation before achieving these rights all over the world.
