Human Rights

Here from Egypt the land of tolerance, the land of peace, we greet you, and hoping you a successful conference. I'd like to speak about human rights. Although these two words ''Human rights'' are simple and short, they have a lot of important meanings. When we mention ''Human rights'', we mean all rights for all people. May some people ask, ''Where are these rights?'' They say that because they think there are not such rights or they may not see their effective role. Here, we can tell them that these rights control their daily life. These rights make them live happily in this world. These rights make human beings, born to be free and to be equal in all aspects of life. These rights prevent them from being subjected to torture, to cruelty inhuman treatment or discrimination. These rights give them the chance to defend themselves and protect their properties. These rights protect their privacy, family, home and even there correspondence. These rights give them the right to have the freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state. Humanity has been suffering from violations of human rights in the past centuries like slavery, racial discrimination, apartheid and torture. Nowadays, there is a great attention paid to human rights .As we are students from Egypt, we hope these rights to be applied throughout the whole world to stop wars and to reduce the people's suffering. Every person in the world is responsible for applying these rights and we should teach new generations how to love each other and how to enjoy peace and justice.
